Health in general – both mental and physical: Rhys is physically in top form, he flies a lot when he's at home. Quidditch runs in his veins, but he's also fond of horseriding and polo. Mentally, he's very good. He does get a little anxious at times - he knows the circumstances of his birth, and his parents, and he tries to please everyone all of the time, thus leading to his occasional anxiety.

Personality

First Impression: Incredibly charming, intelligent and drop dead gorgeous.

General Behaviour: Rhys is probably the least arrogant Bletchley in generations, but what he lacks in arrogance, he makes up for in pride. He gets his own way by using a smile and charm rather than being blunt (like most of the Bletchleys). Girls just fall at his feet, which means he can be as choosy as he likes with the women. He's far more cautious than any of his uncles or his brother, but then that's the Montague blood running through his veins. He might be seen as a mummy's boy, but he is fiercely protective of Kiana, and is one of the few people who know how much his father hurt her.

He is loyal to family, although he is very wary of his father, despite his brother's assurances. He will always give Ryan a wide berth.

Weaknesses: Pride and being slightly over-emotional. He often over-analyses things, much to everyone's annoyance. Beautiful women.

Family History: Rhys' mother is Kiana Montague, the second daughter of Damian and Verity Montague. Rhys' father, Ryan, is the second son of Miles Bletchley. Ryan's mother, Scarlett Capper, left him on Miles' doorstep as an infant, and was almost entirely raised by his father. Rhys is only one day younger than his half-brother, Rhydian. Although the only legitimate son in his generation, the family magic recognised his half brother as the legitimate heir. Rhydian's mother is Alcyone Lestrange.

His mother, however, left her husband when he was a year old, and he has lived in Italy with his mother since he could remember.

What they think about sex and love: He's a Bletchley, and really does love sex, but when it comes to love, he's seen what it can do when it all goes wrong. He knows just how much his father hurt his mother. He doesn't want to be like his father at all, and would rather be more like his grandfathers (either of them, although when it comes to love, he wants to be more like Poppa Montague). When he finds the right girl, he's going to settle down for good. He's a lot like his uncle Liam in this respect, although he might still have a wandering eye like his uncle.

Rhys might be the most innocent looking Bletchley in three generations, but deep down, he's inherited his parents dark tendencies. He's had plenty of access to the family libraries in both Bletchley Manor, and in the library at Lestrange Manor. His uncle Guilian knows more than he lets on in public, and so he's had a very thorough grounding in Dark Magic.

Rhydian knows, as they have toyed with the dark a time or two. His family won't suspect, although his mother, being a fellow Ravenclaw, might suspect the fire behind his eyes isn't just ambition.

He has used his innocent looks to get him far, even so much as asking the Sorting Hat to put him in Ravenclaw. It seems many of his family's acquaintances underestimate him for having been in that house, but he's a snake lurking to strike under the raven's feathers.

So I was supposed to do this assignment for History of Magic. It was about my family, and my family tree. Mine is just so complicated and insane, I just thought I should probably explain a few things first.

I mean, if you could truly understand my family, then you're doing well. So who am I? I'm Rhys Bletchley. I live in Italy with my mother, Kiana Bletchley (Montague). She's the Italian Minister for Magic. I'm pretty sure everyone knows her, and if you don't, what rock have you been living under these past few years?

I also live with my grandparents. I love them both - my Grandmother, Verity, is the best Gran in the world, and my Papa, who still thinks he's only thirty years old. He hates his given name, so all his friends call him 'Montague'. He's a funny papa, and I love going flying with him.

Both my granddads are fantastic. They were best friends when they were at school, and for most of their lives. They used to play quidditch together, and now Grandpa (that's Miles Bletchley) makes brooms that are world reknowned.

I also have a tonne of uncles and aunts. Uncle Astin, Uncle Nathaniel, Aunty Rea, Aunty Kilea (more on her later), Uncle Liam, Aunty Ella, Aunty Portia, Uncle Marlowe, Uncle Dane and Uncle Lachlan.

I won't even go into all my cousins, suffice to say that my family isn't quite as simple as I've made it out to be. Aunty Kilea is Portia, Dane and Lachlan's mother. She's my mother's twin sister, and yet she married my Grandpa. I think Papa nearly had a stroke when he found out, but I understand he hexed Grandpa and there were a few cross words said. I wish I was there to have seen that. So my aunt is also my grandmother by marriage, and my Uncle Dane is the same age as me. We are also cousins. It can get bloody confusing when it comes to our family reunions. Especially when people try to understand my family's web for the first time.

Even though I was raised in Italy, I was sent to be schooled at Hogwarts in Scotland. It's bloody cold there sometimes, and I much prefer to stay at my great uncle Guilian's house in the north of Italy, along the lake. I had hoped he might tutor me in a few subjects - he knows so many languages - but he's only letting me learn one language at a time until I leave Hogwarts. I'm almost ready to start learning the Scandinavian languages, as I am fluent in English, Italian, Latin, French and German.

I have no idea what I want to do when I leave Hogwarts. I love Quidditch, and flying (I'm the Ravenclaw keeper), but only to keep fit. I'd rather do something a little more... substantial with my career. Don't tell either of my grandfathers that I said that - they will die of collective shock. Apparently it's not seemly for a Bletchley (or a Montague) to not like Quidditch. Even my aunt Portia owns and runs her own team. But then again, I always remind Grandpa that I am the first Bletchley to ever be in Ravenclaw house, and that is enough to get him to calm down. (although he was apparently shocked when he first heard. Just because the entire family has always been Slytherin... The times are changing, and that's something Grandpa has to get used to).

I think Mother was pleased I was put in that house. She might have been a little worried that I would end up in Slytherin like my father.

I haven't mentioned him yet, have I?

I guess that's because I have such a wonderful extended family, that I really don't need to say much about him. I have met him, I do know him, but then again, we really don't have anything in common. Well, I know I look somewhat like him (I don't know if that annoys Mama), but beyond that, I don't know. I've tried spending summer holidays with him, but I usually end up with Grandpa and Aunty Kilea.

Ryan Bletchley is my father (although mother doesn't talk about him, I've heard her call him many other names). Mother left him and we came back to Italy when I was only a year old. I have an idea why mother left him (now that I'm old enough to understand), but she's never remarried, which makes me wonder just how she feels about father.

See, I was supposed to be my father's heir. I was supposed to be the one to inherit and carry on the Bletchley line. It's always the oldest pureblood who inherits, and that was supposed to be me. But apparently father had a mistress, who was pregnant at the same time. Her child was born the day before I was, and so technically, he's going to inherit the family estates.

Which really doesn't bother me. I get on really well with my brother. Rhydian Lestrange is... my best friend and my worst enemy. We are a team, and we are often inseparable. Well, other than quidditch, that is.

What else do you want to know about my family? My father made my wand, and it's about the best thing he's ever done for me. My father is a wandmaker and practices far too much dark magic for anyone's liking. My brother and I have plans to take over the world one day, and together, I think we can do it. I want Uncle/cousin Dane to join us in that venture as well.

My mother's family is the second richest in Italy, and father's family's fortune is rising constantly with Grandpa's brooms. With so many uncles, cousins and everyone, I really don't care about inheritances or money. I mean, I love to have it, and Great Uncle Guilian mentioned that perhaps I would like to inherit his home at Lago di Como. I'd like that a lot.

Yes, I have a girlfriend, well, I think I still do. I will if she never finds out about what happened with the French Ambassador's daughter. She's Sicilian, so her temper is a little... fiery... at times.

Oh and speaking of fiery, I guess I inherited my mother and father's ability with fire. I very nearly did burn myself to death the first time I showed magic. But that's another story for another day.

So please, professor, when you read this report, don't mark me down for not actually doing up my family tree. I think you'll agree that my family has enough complications in it.
